About US:
"GCBC is a church focused on the individual. Come and be a part of us!"
Our Ministry Goal: Love God, Love Others, Serve All
Our Mission: To evangelize the lost, baptize the saved, and disciple the members of GCBC.
We are a Bible believing Church that teaches the Word of God. The Scripture is the focal point of all of our ministries. We are members of the SBCV of Virginia Baptists.
If you are seeking a church where you will not just a number, GCBC is the place for you. Our congregation is very relationship oriented. You will not be lost in the crowd. Our worship program focuses on a style of worship that highlights the old hymns of our faith with a healthy mix of praise songs. We do not believe in thrills and sensationalism in worshipping Our Lord. Our worship is Christ centered!
Our children and Teens are very important to us. They receive their Bible training through our Sunday School program. We encourage our Teens to attend the worship service and our children attend their time of training during this hour. GCBC believes our families should worship together. Afterall, they face life together. The Children and Teen ministries have activities scheduled outside of the regular church times. This gives them an opportunity to share Christ with their friends and peers. This is an exciting time for our church. . It is the perfect time for new families to join our church. It is a great time for families who want to serve Christ to unite with us!
We have a traditional Sunday School program with classes for all ages. It is our desire to help the wounded recover and serve God. We offer opportunities for the young, old, married, single, divorced, re-married, true believers, curious, skeptical, and disillusioned to find Christ in a more meaningful way. We carry the Gospel of Christ into the local prison as a way of helping that population. Our vision is to reach people for Jesus Christ and disciple them in the doctrine and disciplines of the Bible. Our church makes every effort to accept the abandoned people of our society. It is a great time for all ages to join us!
Our church is very friendly to the biker world. We work through the C M A (Christian Motorcyclist Association) to reach that segment of our population. Bikers, are welcome to come and join us on any Sunday.
GCBC invites you to join us!
